During our 2025 Florida College Tour, we had the privilege of welcoming the Florida Lottery team Ms. Shaqueria Myrick, Ms. Paola Duran, and Mr. Randy Fox during our visit to Florida State University. They hosted an informative workshop on the Bright Futures Scholarship Program and provided an overview of financial aid, grants, tuition assistance programs, and other funding opportunities available to students. Ms. Myrick and Ms. Duran also shared personal stories about the challenges they faced in college and how they persevered in achieving their goals. Their insights and advice inspired our students as they prepare for their own academic journeys.
A special highlight of the workshop was the Florida Lottery’s recognition of two of our Bright Futures recipients, Jessica Pierre Toussaint and Jazmin Joseph. They were honored with medallions and a gift bag, celebrating their hard work and dedication. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Florida Lottery team for their time, knowledge, and commitment to supporting students in their pursuit of higher education!
