The 2025 Florida College Tour was an unforgettable and enriching experience that spotlighted the diverse educational opportunities available across the state. The tour was designed to expose students to Florida’s top universities and provide valuable insight into scholarship programs like Bright Futures. Students had the opportunity to visit five major institutions: Florida State University, Florida A&M University, University of Florida, University of Central Florida, and University of South Florida. At each campus, they connected with admissions counselors, professors, and current students to learn more about academic programs, campus life, and the admissions process. A special highlight took place at Florida State University, where the Florida Lottery hosted a scholarship workshop. Students received valuable information on the Bright Futures Scholarship Program, financial aid options, and additional funding sources available to Florida students. While in Tallahassee, the group also toured the Florida State Capitol and met with members of the House of Representatives and the Senate. This civic experience offered students a meaningful look into how state government operates and the importance of civic engagement. From learning about college life to understanding the financial and legislative support behind higher education, this tour was a powerful step forward for our students with bright futures ahead.
